Our Story
In 2011, our family experienced the sudden loss of our father in a tragic car accident. We were 3, 7, and 10 years old.
Like many families navigating grief, we were surrounded by people who cared deeply about us. Teachers, coaches, neighbors, first responders, counselors, faith leaders, friends, and our community became part of our journey. Their compassion reminded us that healing doesn't happen alone - it happens through community.
That experience inspired the creation of Jackson 3 Foundation.
What began as one family's story has grown into a mission to ensure children and families facing the loss of a supportive family member have access to referrals, resources, educational opportunities, partnerships, and the support they need to rebuild, grow, and thrive.
Today, that mission lives on through the Growing Through Grief™ Series, the California Children's Grief Support Initiative (CCGSI), and countless community partnerships - all built on one simple belief:
No Child Should Grieve Alone.
Beacon of Hope
The Jackson Memorial Field is more than a baseball field - it is a beacon of hope for children and families navigating grief. It represents the strength and resilience of survivors while reminding us that some of life's greatest lessons are learned both on and off the field. Through perseverance, teamwork, integrity, compassion, and hope, children and families discover that even after life's greatest challenges, they can rebuild, grow, and thrive. Those lessons strengthen individuals, families, and communities - and continue to inspire the mission of Jackson 3 Foundation.
MISSION AND VISION
